This policy explains what information Builtsy handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifier, and team membership.
Business and store information, including products, customers, orders, markets, fulfilment settings, and content you choose to add.
Service and device information, such as browser details, IP address, security events, diagnostics, and feature usage.
Billing and transaction status from payment providers. Payment providers process sensitive payment details under their own privacy terms.
Provide, secure, support, and improve Builtsy and the stores you operate.
Authenticate users, enforce permissions, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain audit records.
Process requests, subscriptions, and connected-provider workflows.
Send service messages and communications you have requested or can opt out of.
Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We share information only as needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, messaging, fulfilment, and customer support; when you direct us to connect an app; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
As a merchant, you decide what customer information your store collects and why. You are responsible for giving customers an appropriate privacy notice, honoring their rights, and using Builtsy's controls lawfully.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, keep required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to certain uses. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal, or accounting reasons. Submit a request through the support channel shown in your Builtsy account.
We may update this policy as Builtsy changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how personal information is used.
